I’d like to share with you a lesson I learned today from a session I attended taught by Brian Tracy. Yes if you’ve been around for a while in the business community I’m sure you know who he is, if not you need to “goggle it”.

This lesson is called “ 7 Secrets to Leadership”. I’ve renamed this article and informational video “7 efusjon tips for success”  Leadership is the ability to Think and Act a certain way. These actions benefit you and others. The lesson starts off with the 7 C’s you can also call them Keys I call them Tips.

Tip 1. Clarity
Leaders know who they are and what they are doing. They have clear goals that are written down, specific, measurable and time bound. In each area of they’re lives.

Tip 2. Competence
Leaders are good at what they do. They adhere to the philosophy of constant and never ending improvement. If you do not commit to excellence you are bound by default to mediocrity. You should ask yourself “in what way is my product or service superior to the competition?” What is your USP (unique selling point) Where is your personal expertise? What areas could you improve your excellence?

Tip 3. Constraints
Ask yourself “why aren’t you at your goal?” What is one thing that holds you back? This is were the 80/20 rule comes into play. 80% of the things that hold you back are inside of you! 20% is drummed up to circumstance. Once you realize this you’ll be way ahead of the game.

Tip 4. Creativity
Everyone has a creative genius inside of them. Creativity will help you to overcome constraints and obstacles to meeting your goals. Become intensely solution oriented.

Tip 5. Continuous learning
You should commit to learning something new every day in the area of your profession. Become a life long student. You should read, listen to mp3’s, watch videos and learn at least one new lesson a day.

Tip 6. Concentration
What is the most important thing that needs to be done? You will figure this out if you have written down your goals in a manner that is specific, measurable, and time bound. When you figure it out concentrate on that one thing and that one thing only until it’s accomplished.

Tip 7. Last but not least is Commitment
All leaders are committed. They approach they’re work whole heartedly, if you ask them they will tell you “I Love My Work” Remember everyone starts at the bottom, but  if you adhere to the seven C’s you won’t be there long. Leaders are hard workers they adhere to the 40 plus formula. Most people work 40 hours per week anything over that is geared toward success.

I’ve learned tons in a short period of time just by making a commitment to myself to attend and outline these lessons for you. I am committed to your success in the hopes that you will commit your life to becoming the leader you know you can be.
