The concept of young children initiating their own learning activities rather than acting as mere passive recipients of grasping information from teachers is central to physical, social, cognitive, and artistic development of children.
There will be times when your kid will take part in activities together as a group with his/her friends. Your children will sometimes participate in activities led by the teacher such as learning a new song or listening to a story. In some preschools teachers read to your kid and ask him/her to come up with an ending to a story. They can also play rhyming games with kids. Such activities make learning an interactive process. Another way to make learning fun and interactive is by telling stories that aren’t in books. At times in preschool your kid will be asked to sit quietly and draw and solve puzzles.
An apt preschool curriculum focuses on:

c. Show love and respect to peers, teachers, neighbors, parents and family members.

d) Differentiate between shapes
e) Follows simple instructions
f) Demonstrate writing in different ways
g) Learn to understand language and to effectively communicate
